11/5/11 Hoya 꽃 가득 피어 짙은 향기가 ~~

 

사월 내내 눈이 내리던 날씨가

오월이 되어서는 맑고 따뜻한 날씨가 되었다.

만나는 고객들마다 이젠 날씨가 좋아졌다며

'We deserved nice weather~~~'이라고 한마디씩 말하며

팬지,베고니아 꽃들을 사가며 즐거운 표정이다.

햇살을 즐기느라 가슴이 거의 다 드러난 어깨티만 걸친다든지

기다란 다리와 엉덩이가 다 보이는 짧은 팬츠를 입고 나오는 여자들이 많이 보인다.

여튼 ㅎㅎ 쬐끔만 따뜻하다 싶으믄 드러내는거여~~ㅎㅎ

 

집에서 꽃구경을 잴먼저 시켜주는 Hoya다

향기가 온 집에 요란스럽게 풍긴다 이년은~~ㅎㅎ

 

 

 

 

 

 

일주일 전에 조롱조롱 꽃봉오리가 맺혔드니~~

 

 

 

 

(1주일 뒤에 활짝 핀)

 

 

일주일 뒤인 오늘은 활짝 피어있다.

피고지고 피고지고~ 아마도 여름내내 몇달을 피어있을 것이다.

밤만 되면 진한 향기가 온 집안을 돌아다닌다.

진한 향기 때문에 잠이 깨기도 하였다~

요사스런 년이다 이건~밤에만 향기를 찐하게 내뿜으니~ ㅎ

 

 

Hoyas are climbing or trailing plants with thick, fleshy leaves

and clusters of waxy, star-shaped flowers.

Some species are also sweetscenyed.

The climbing kinds, which can grow many feet tall,

are usually grown on small indoor trellises or are trained around wires or stakes.

The smaller trailers look attractive when grouped together in a hanging basket.

The leaves grow in opposite pairs and have short leafstalks.

Clusters of longlasting flowers are produced every year

(normally thoughout the summer) on 1 1/2- to 2-inch- long stalks.

Each cluster is composed of up to 30-inch blooms

and is carried on a 1-inch-long woody spur that arises from a leaf axil.

 

<Special  points>

When removing spent blooms,

be careful to pick off only the flowers and flower stalks.

Hoya spurs produce flowers year after year.

Destruction of spurs means reduction of future quantities of flowers.
